Dr. Cheryl Metzler
Dr. Cheryl Metzler is originally from Green Bay, has nine siblings, and currently resides in Two Rivers with her husband, Dr. Ron Linzmeier, who is a chiropractor in Manitowoc. They also have two children.
Dr. Cheryl Metzler's education, credentials, and accomplishments include:
- Attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for pre-chiropractic studies
- Played for U.W. Eau Claire's tennis team
- Obtained a chiropractic degree from Northwestern
- College of Chiropractic in 1988
- Participated in an internship in Melbourne, Australia
- After graduation, practiced in Rhode Island for five years, before returning to Green Bay to open the clinic
- Earned her Diplomat of Board Certified Internist (DABCI) degree in 2001
- After 3 years of extensive training, passed the board exam which allowed her to work with more internal disorders
Dr. Carmel Joy Raihala
At the age of 10, Dr. Carmel Joy Raihala had a dream of being a chiropractor. She is originally from northern Minnesota and now lives with her husband in Green Bay. Her husband is an optometrist.
Dr. Carmel Joy Raihala education, credentials, and accomplishments include:
- Attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth for undergraduate studies
- Obtained a chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN
- An internship in Melbourne, Australia, and then graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic
- Practiced in Phoenix, AZ for four years, before moving to Green Bay, to open the clinic
- Earned the degree of Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner
- Finished a 120-hour sports injury program in Italy - passed the international boards to acquire the certification
Dr. Jon Swanson
Dr. Jon Swanson is a native of the Northeast Wisconsin area originally from Wrightstown. He has dreamed of being a chiropractor since he was in elementary school. Jon, his wife Cassaundra, and daughters Kendall and Kinsley are living back in Wrightstown again. Dr. Jon loves to snowmobile, hunt, and fish and enjoys spending time with his family.
Dr. Jon Swanson’s education, credentials, and accomplishments include:
- Attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse for pre-chiropractic studies
- Obtained a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2015
- Is certified in the Webster Technique, which is a special technique for pregnant women
- FMT (functional movement taping) certified, which uses kinesiotape to aid in movement
- Rocktape certified
- Loves providing talks to the public and educating patients on the benefits of chiropractic and the quality of life that can be achieved with a holistic lifestyle
- He works with patients of all ages from newborn to 92, and also athletes and pregnant women
Dr. Alexander Kirchner
Dr. Alex Kirchner is originally from Green Bay, graduating from Preble High School in 2012. Dr. Alex was married in 2018 to his wife Sarah, and they currently have one daughter Haidyn. Dr. Alex decided to become a chiropractor after a back injury in high school that chiropractic treatment helped him overcome. Dr. Alex loves traveling, exercising, and spending time with his growing family.
Dr. Alex Kirchner’s education, credentials, and accomplishments include:
- Attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse for pre-chiropractic studies, Graduating with a major in Biology with a medical emphasis and a minor in Chemistry
- Obtained a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport in 2020
- Graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic with the honors of Magna Cum Laude and an award for Academic Excellence
- Practiced for two years at another office in the Green Bay Area specializing in the Gonstead Chiropractic technique
- Practices the Gonstead technique along with Diversified, Activator, and Cox Flexion Distraction Techniques
- Works with patients of all ages from newborns to the young at heart!
Bruna Polonia, MSOM, LAc
Dr. Bruna has been in the health area since 2006 when she started medical school back in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she is originally from. After moving to the US to pursue her master's, she worked at an acupuncture clinic specializing in fertility, pregnancy, and women’s health. She did her internship at the school clinic and still sees patients back in Brazil. She focuses on female health, chemotherapy support, and mental health support but treats general medicine and pain as well. Being Brazilian, she is also fluent in Portuguese.
Certifications:
- Attended Fundação Técnico-Educacional Souza Marques in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has been an active Medical Doctor there since 2012
- Trained in China at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2018
- Obtained a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Wongu University of Oriental Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has been an Oriental Medical Doctor since 2020
- Nationally certified by NCCAOM in all four board exams - Biomedicine, Chinese Herbology, Foundations of Oriental Medicine, and Acupuncture with Point Location
- Certified in Clean Needle Technique
